These great little blocks have been very popular in our house. We have had hours of fun creating patterns, copying patterns and challenging each other to create new patterns.
We have a limited number of these pattern blocks available, and will get more in if interest is there. Pattern blocks can be used in many different ways. They can be used to make a pre-set pattern. This is great to encourage development of Visual Analysis Skills. Pattern books available for download and many different patterns can be found on the internet.
They are also a great tool for open ended play. Where there is no set pattern, and your imagination guides what you create.
